Pokhara to Tolkha (1790m)
From Pokhara, head towards Phedi first. The road takes you along the hilly ridges and you’ll witness the major part of the Dhampus valley. The trail takes you through rhododendron forests and passes to Pothana. Soak in the view of the majestic Machhapuchhre mountain and relax in Tolkha. Overnight in Tolkha.
Tolkha to Chomrong (2040m)
Walk through the quaint forested trails and find yourself in the beautiful Gurung village called Chomrong. This small village rests beautifully in the jungle and has abundant accommodation facilities. Relax in the evening by drinking a hot cup of tea while admiring the beautiful landscape.
Chomrong to Dovan (2540m)
Following our ascent from Chomrong village, we follow a stone staircase and cross the Chomrong River via a suspension bridge. The trail leads us through enchanting forests filled with bamboo, rhododendron, and oak. Our journey takes us up to Kuldi and from there, we descend through a lengthy, steep, and occasionally slippery stone staircase. At the end, we reach the charming Dovan village. Overnight in Dovan.
Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700m)
As you walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, you find yourself getting closer to the Macchapuchhre Base Camp. Soak in the amazing views of the Annapurna mountain range and nearby mountains. Overnight in Machhapuchhre Base Camp.
MBC to ABC (4130m) and return to Dovan
The journey to Annapurna Base Camp takes just under two hours. The path leads you down a small ridge extending from the mountain pass to a mountainside decorated with expansive terraced fields. Upon reaching Annapurna South Base Camp, be captivated by breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and diverse Himalayan cultural scenes. Finally, as the day comes to a close, descend back to Dovan for a restful night. Overnight in Dovan.
Dovan to Chhomrong (2540m)
Head back to Chhomrong by following the same trail that you used previously. Be careful of the slippery stone staircases though! Overnight in Chhomrong.
Chhomrong to Pokhara
Our journey starts with a delightful stroll across terraced fields that gradually descends to the Kimrong Khola. Pausing at Jhinu, we observe the panoramic mountain views that leave us in awe. The trek resumes, leading us through Birethanti along a broad stone-paved trail above the river. Our path eventually brings us to Nayapul, where we catch a private vehicle to take us away to Pokhara. A night in Pokhara promises serenity and beauty that will linger in our memories. Overnight in Pokhara.
Pokhara to Kathmandu
Say goodbye to Pokhara and head on a journey back to Kathmandu. Finish your trek with a day in the capital, remembering the extraordinary landscapes and cultural beauty observed on the road. Overnight in Kathmandu
